Reminder: Appointments are 30 minutes long. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow for parking and check-in.

Enter at the front entrance of the hospital, which is on the east side of the building, off of Prairie Avenue (at 26th). If you are driving, we have arranged for Free Children's Clinic people to park in LOT B, across from the entrance of the building. The gate should be open for you. Proceed to the front entrance of the hospital, check in with the person at the main desk. They will direct you to the 12th floor, Great Room.

I-90/94 (Dan Ryan) West:
Exit 22nd Street/Lake Shore Drive to I-55 North
I-55 North to King Drive
King Drive South to 26th Street
West on 26th to Prairie. Right on Prairie
Park in Lot B across from the entrance

From North and West Suburbs

I 90 East or 290 East to
I-90/94 (Dan Ryan) East:
Exit I-55 (Stevenson) North to Lake Shore Drive
Exit King Drive
King Drive South to 26th Street
26th Street West to Mercy Hospital

From Southwest Suburbs

I-55 (Stevenson) North:
Follow signs to Lake Shore Drive
Exit King Drive (before you get to LSD)

From the North Shore:

Lake Shore Drive (U.S. 41) South:
Exit 31st Street and go West on 31st to Michigan Ave.
(Warning: don't take a hard right and go into McCormick

From the South Shore

Lake Shore Drive (U.S. 41) North:
Exit 31st Street and turn Left at top of ramp
Take 31st Street West to Michigan,
Turn Right (North)to 26th Street
East to Mercy Hospital, Park in Lot B at Prairie Ave. and 26th

From Downtown Chicago

Take Michigan Avenue South
Turn left on 26th Street
26th Street East to Mercy Hospital,
Park in Lot B at Prairie Avenue and 26th

From the South Side

Take Michigan Avenue North to 26th Street
Turn right on 26th Street
26th Street East to Mercy Hospital, Park in Lot B at Prairie Ave. and 26th

Public Transportation

From the Loop At Jackson & State, take the #1 Indiana/Hyde Park Bus SOUTH, down to 26th and Michigan. Get off the bus at 26th Street, cross Michigan Avenue, and walk two blocks east. (The hospital will be on your left.) Turn left (north) on Prairie Ave. and proceed to the main entrance of the hospital.

From Hyde Park Take the #1 Indiana Bus NORTH to 26th & Michigan. Get off the bus at 26th Street and walk east two blocks along 26th Street. (The hospital will be on your left.) Turn left (north) on Prairie Ave. and proceed to the main entrance of the hospital.
